Self-portraits, family stories, neighborhood maps, and a personal “All About Me” book.

Week 2 · Jul 13–16

Around the World Adventures

Pretend passports, flags, music, and a new country to “travel” to each day.

Week 3 · Jul 20–23

Oceans, Beaches & Nature

Ocean animals, shell art, weather talks — perfect tie-in to our beach days.

Week 4 · Jul 27–30

Creative Kids & Celebration

Storytelling, dance, festivals from around the world, and a final art showcase.

Ms. Josie Reyes

Lead Montessori Guide

Ms. Josie is a Montessori-licensed educator with over 35 years of experience guiding children ages 6–12. She holds a Bachelor's in Education from St. Joseph's College and an Associate's in Early Childhood Education from Kingsborough Community College, along with her North American Montessori Center teaching license. A mother of four, she brings warmth, creativity, and deep expertise — from dynamic lesson planning to creative writing, poetry, art, and community building.

Ms. Ellen Yagnich

Assistant Guide & Camp Counselor

Ms. Ellen is studying Early Childhood and Special Education with a Neuroscience minor at CUNY Brooklyn College. She has tutored literacy and phonics from Pre-K through third grade, assisted kindergarten classrooms, and led "Around the World" cultural lessons and hands-on baking at past summer camps. Trilingual in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, Ellen adapts thoughtfully to every learner she meets.
